MEL
After a long few months of rest and recovery from her CCL surgery, Mel is fully recovered and ready to bounce her way into your heart – and home.
Mel would love an adopter or family with dog experience that will help keep working on her manners and someone that’s always down for adventures. No couch potatoes for this girl!
Her foster dad takes her to work most days…though we can’t say she’s learned much about being a mechanic, but she’ll definitely sit and watch you work if you give her a bone to busy herself. Mel loves to meet new people, but she’s working on controlling her excitement so she doesn’t overwhelm anyone with her kisses. She listens well and has made a lot of progress with her manners, it would be great if her adopter can continue this progress.
Mel like others dogs but doesn’t quite have an off switch. She’ll need a bud that can deal with the constant in your face play style or a solo home of her own. She’s young and learning the ropes of how to dog still. She would be perfect for someone with out dogs but that wants to get together with their friends dogs for play dates!
Age: 2.5 years old
Kids: 12 and up please. I’m very bouncy and still learning how to control my excitement when I meet people!
Dogs: I don’t mind making dog friends, but I think I like living as the only dog in the home!
Cats: No thanks!
