Meet Violet!

This ultimate sweet thang traveled all the way here from Alabama. She was stuck living in a boarding/dog day care facility for TWO YEARS!

Violet is by far one of the sweetest souls we have ever met. She’s truly that dog that you meet and can’t walk away from because she’s so special. She’s calm but still likes to party with her toys. She’s Wonderfully house broken, crate trained, and the best snuggler on the block.

When Violet first came to Biggies she had a terribly bad skin infection and was missing a lot of her hair, as well as being constantly itchy and red.
We visited the wonderful staff at Cranberry Vet Hospital where she was prescribed some meds and weekly medicated baths. Were about a month out of this routine and she’s clearing up every single day!

Violet may always have sensitive skin but we believe it’s going to be very manageable. She does great on Fromm Whitefish, but can show sensitivities to other foods. We believe the main cause of her actual skin infection was a flea take over that her body had an allergic reaction too and was never properly medicated. Now that we’ve gotten her on the right course, she’s truly flourishing.

Age: 6 years old
Kids: I love attention from anyone, I wouldn’t mind living with a kid thats nice to dogs!
Dogs: I like other dogs! The boarding place said I used to guard my toys towards other dogs, but I haven’t shown any signs of that since my time at Biggies.
Cats: has not been tested, can be upon proved application.
